At the heart of the new BMX51/70 turret is a powerful integrated motor in the tool disc, thermally cooled and stabilized for maximum efficiency.
The motion is transmitted directly, with no kinematic chain: the motor is directly coupled to the tool holder.
The result? A simpler, more compact, high-performance system.
Main advantages:
- Drastically reduced vibrations
- No power loss or mechanical play
- Less heat generation
The final benefit is tangible: better finishes, greater rigidity and removal capacity, with quieter and more stable operation even during the toughest processes.

Turret with Integrated Motor: Power and Precision at the Core

B620

The new liquid cooled integral motor spindles are driven by high-torque motors with unequalled power.
They allow higher spindle speed.
Also, the combination of the roller and ball bearings, plus the high torque and constant horsepower range, allow powerful cutting as well as exceptional finish and roundness accuracy.

The tailstock body is operated by a servo motor and baIlscrew (B-axis).
This solution improves operating flexibility since position and thrust are CNC-controlled.
It can also be used to perform simultaneously both drilling and turning

CNC Automatic Tailstock

B620

Complete machining in one set-up, spindle synchronisation sub-spindle load monitoring when the workpiece is transferred from the main to the sub-spindle.
Simultaneous machining Thanks to this option, two tools can work simultaneously on both spindles.
Cycle time is drastically reduced.

SUB-Spindle with C-Axis:

Automation-ready

✓
Prepared for bar feeder
✓
Prepared for automatic robot loading

DRIVEN TOOLS, C AXIS AND Y AXIS:

complete machining in a single cycle

✓
Multi-pass face milling
✓
Irregular pocket milling (roughing-finishing)
✓
Hole and seat milling
✓
Thread milling
✓
Drilling and tapping of grid-pattern hole arrays

POLYGON TURNING

With this function, dedicated driven tools can be used to machine polygonal profiles and threads.
In addition, gear cutting operations can be performed using the dedicated hob-holder spindle.

PARTS UNLOADER

The B620 can be equipped with two types of automatic finished-part unloaders.
Conventional system consisting of an arm with a tilting paddle that unloads finished parts onto a chute (unloading from both the main spindle and the sub-spindle).
Swing-arm unloader for delicate parts, which picks up the finished part from the sub-spindle
and places it onto a small conveyor belt that transports it out of the machine (sub-spindle unloading only).
Sub-spindle swing-arm unloading sequence:

1) Finished-part pick-up
2) Transfer onto internal conveyor
3) Part exit on external conveyor
